Gameplay (General)
- All KOF XII Systems (Clash, Guard Attack, Critical Counters) are removed
- Speed is faster than KOF XII
- EX Attacks are added (execution: [input] + PP (AC) or KK (BD))
- New System: Drive Cancels and HyperDrive Mode, which are actually callbacks to the SCancels and BC MAX Mode from KOF 2002.
- NeoMAX Supers are special DMs that can be used along the HD Mode or simply with three power stocks. This can be MAX Canceled from DMs as well.
