找了全网也没看到cut it in the ring 这个用法 最接近的就是cut off the ring好像是拳击里的什么术语

cut it就是够资格，这个词的it指的是mustard，但是完全版cut the mustard已经很少人用了
in the ring不知道具体context，但是ring应该是在说拳台那个围栏，in the ring是泛指双方较量的场地，所以他其实只是用了个比较fancy的方式说你干不过我
