Remarks The tropical depression which was evolving far at about 1200km to the South East of Diego Garcia intensified gradually overnight and reached moderate tropical storm this morning. It has been named "Ashley" at 09h00 on Tuesday 27 September 2022 by the Mauritius Meteorological Services. This system does not represent any threat for the Mascarene islands.
