Gonzalo RodríguezMilan are keeping tabs on Villarreal centre-back Gonzalo Rodriguez, sports daily Corriere dello Sport claims.
The Rossoneri are currently in the market for summer reinforcements as they prepare to mount assaults on the Serie A and Champions League titles next term.
And Rodriguez is believed to be one of Milan's top targets to bolster the centre of the defence, a sector which has already been reinforced by Mario Yepes from Chievo this summer.
The Argentina international has been with the Yellow Submarine since joining from San Lorenzo in 2004, and he has formed a solid partnership at the back with Diego Godin.
The 26-year-old, who has been linked with football at Lazio in the past, holds an EU passport, which is quite appealing to Milan, who would not need to start worrying about filling their non-EU quota just yet.
