Thesp boards indies ‘A Great Education’ and ‘Entitled’
Kevin Zegers (”Transamerica”) has signed to star in a pair of indie projects — college drama “A Great Education” and thriller “Entitled.”
Thesp will portray an ambitious but poor young man from Indiana who’s on scholarship at Harvard, where he begins dating a society girl, portrayed by Emma Roberts.
William Mosely and Ben Kingsley also star, with Christopher Keyser directing. Kirk D’Amico and Laurence Mark are set to produce, with Myriad Pictures financing.
For “Entitled,” Zegers will topline with Ray Liotta as the ringleader of a ransom plot with several other college students. Aaron Woodley is directing from a script by William Morrissey, with Dave Valleau and Foundation Features (”Capote”) producing.
Zegers is working on “Vampire,” written and directed by Shunji Iwai and produced by Tim Kwok.
