Lene writing lyrics in the USA
Lene says in her blog that she has been writing lyrics in the USA.
In an unfortunately overlooked blog message on her Facebook account, Lene writes that on April 16, the day of her TV2 appearance, she had just recently gotten back from the USA.
She writes that she had spent nearly 3 weeks in the US, and that she wrote a lot of new lyrics over there.
Lene further writes that she has been working in the studio with "some great people". She also acknowledges the Gold Record award for "Worth It" from Sony Music.
Here is the full message (April 16, 2010):
Hi! A sunny day in Oslo :-) I hope it will last a while... Hope you're all well!
Just came back from the US after spending nearly 3 weeks over there. Wrote lots of new lyrics, and also spent some time in the studio working with some great people! You never know what will happen, but I got to work with a really talented artist with such a great voice. Beautiful! I can't tell you how much I love writing with and for other people :-) More of that will happen in the months to come...
Yesterday Sony gave me a gold record award for "Worth It" Thanks to all of you :-) THANK YOU!!! Happy days!!! Anyway, hope you're not stuck at an airport, and that the Icelandic volcano is not causing you too much trouble!!! Hopefully you're all safe and sound!!!

It's unfortunate that we have indeed missed this message from Lene. There is no similar message posted on her MySpace account, which is part of the reason for missing out on it.
