In this cool sighting even an ageing and limping Makulu Mapogo was still not going to tolerate Pretty Boy Mapogo anywhere near this Ximhungwe lioness when she was in oestrus. So much respect for this legend of a lion!
A little over 10 years have now passed since the end of the reign of the mighty Mapogo Coalition.
After feeling a little nostalgic and going through old hard drives, we discovered some videos that we have never posted on You Tube before. Be sure to look out for more uploads over the next few weeks of some memorable moments spent with these legendary male lions.
