12月2日晚上，海利参加了在迪斯尼Epcot主题公园举行的“烛光圣歌”集会，海利官方论坛上的Fair再一次及时地报道了这个消息。他偶然间在一位名为Lindsay的女士的Blog上发现了有关的描述。非常感谢Lindsay和她的家人。她当日更新的Blog上记述了她和她的丈夫，他们的儿子一起在佛罗里达的休假还特别记述了在迪斯尼乐园的经历。Fair说：“……我个人而言，看到海利作为特邀嘉宾为集会做旁白，我想象不出比此更为神奇的夜晚……”以下是她的Blog节选，Fair略作删改，去掉了与Haley关系不大的部分，“看上去这是一个很美妙值得记忆的夜晚，我能想象魔法的王国与充满魔力的海利结合，他们制造出强大慑人的咒语，会给你的心中带去多少愉悦。”（Fair语）2005年12月3日 星期六烛光圣歌哇……不可思议！这是我唯一能供形容昨晚的的词语。我们在迪斯尼的Epcot主题公园度过了整个夜晚，在Le Cellier饭店享用了晚餐，我不知道牛排竟然可以融化在嘴中——这是我品尝过的最好的一餐。（以下是菜单，我就不译了）晚餐过后，我们一边在园内散布观看展览，一边等待烛光圣歌聚会的开始。大约四百名歌手与大型的管弦乐队一起出现在台上，在他们的歌声中，海利·乔·奥斯蒙特讲述着圣诞故事，音乐美妙，叙述动人，我最喜欢的部分是当海利读到：All the armies that have ever fought...All the navies that have ever sailed...All the parliaments that have ever sat...All of them combined, do not have the same influence over mankind as this one solitary man.这是一个动人的夜晚！很有价值和意义的一次旅行，我们在这里留下了美好的记忆！

2nd performace: Yeah so all the girls were freaking out about how "incredibly hott" Haley was by this point. There were lots of "I'm gonna marry him' being said. We get on stage and I know when Haley's coming out, so I turn my head to watch him come out from the backstage area. We went through the show like normal, Haley continuing to look at my little section. Oh I forgot to mention this part, at the end of each show our conductor would have different parts bow to the audience...the problem: we had never rehearsed this! So when she pointed to a section, Haley would look at it. When my section came both times I just looked straight at Haley and began laughing because I felt like an idiot. Then Haley would bow and the rapid fangirl screams insued. Then Haley walks out back to the backstage area and WAVES, oh yes WAVES at us with an adorable smile on his face. I then watch him go into the backstage area and can see him standing within 2 feet of one of my friends who passed out during the performance and was taken backstage. I talked to her afterwards and she said he shook her hand! So TIP for the future Candlelight performances kids: Faint and you'll get taken backstage and get to meet Haley. Here's some random stuff about Haley like how he did and what he looked like. Alright well obviously our Haley has turned into quite the little heartbreaker. I expect there to be much googling of his name now. My friend who was an alto told me that she had a girl standing next to here that whenever Haley spoke would say "MMM, I want me a piece of that!" hahaha Haley is pretty short. I can't judge that well because I was on risers when he walked by me but I would say 5'6" or something...I'm not real good with that stuff. Like in the pictures, he wore a very nice suit. I was a bit suprised that his hair wasn't cut, but it looked good on him. He looked like a normal kid. One of my teachers was actually backstage for the first performance and I asked her about what Haley was like and she said "I wasn't that impressed with him, he seemed kinda bored and one time he was like 'now where am I supposed to go?'" Even the Disney people weren't that impressed w/ Haley's speaking. Our Disney leaders guys said "He's a great actor, not a speaker." Now I am impartial because I thought Haley did a good job (I think he always does), but he didn't speak into the microphone as much as he should have and he could have done a bit more expression in his reading. I think my favorite part would have to be the portion that lady from the blog that Fair posted said...when he talked about the navies and world leaders...none of them have garnered so much respect or changed as many lives as Jesus Christ. Haley did do a good part saying those lines...very emotional. All in all it was a great experience and it was such an honor to a) be singing songs about the birth of Jesus Christ at Disneyworld and b) to be sharing a stage w/ the incredible Haley Joel Osment. I would do it again in a heartbeat, in fact I am on the 30th and Steven Curtiss Chapman will be the speaker! Well that's about all for now...if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

I think we sang a total of 12 songs.I don't quite understand the setup, was the concert done on an outdoor stage, or was it inside in some large concert hall?** It was done on an outdoor stage in the World Showcase area of Epcot...I think it was in front of The United States to be exact.How large were the crowds that watched the show?** Oh whoa I'm so bad w/ numbers but it was definately the biggest crowd I've ever sang in front of.How did they introduce Haley before he came on stage... just say his name, or say his name and some of his films, or something else...?** They just said "and please welcome our celebrity guest speaker Haley Joel Osment!"What was the reaction from the audience when Haley appeared on stage... was there a thundering applause, a polite applause, or was it just *crickets*...?** It wasn't a standing ovation or anything but it was a pretty descent applause.Was Haley consistant in how he read the story for both shows, or was one reading a whole lot better than the other one?** He was actually very consistant for both readings.How did the crowd react when the show was over, do you think they enjoyed it overall, like the lady in the "blog" seemed to have really enjoyed the show the night before?** Yeah I think the crowd enjoyed it alot. On our way walking back to the backstage area the Disney workers held the crowds back as we walked by and people were commenting on how good it was and stuff.Are you sure that was a bodyguard that walked Haley out on stage, or could it have been one of the stage directors that make sure the entrances and exits from the stage are timed for the show?**I actually don't know if it was a bodyguard or not I just assumed. He could have very well been a stage director or something.How did the crowd react when Haley left the stage... aside from the screaming fangirl stuff that Haley has had to endure probably at every single one of his public appearance for basically his entire life? Were the fangirls in the audience, or was it the choir that was screaming like that?** They didn't really react when he left the stage, it was moreso when he took his bow. Many screams came from the audience, but there were quite a few girls in the choir who screamed for him too.If you were in the audience, do you think you would have enjoyed the show with your choir singing and Haley narrating the story?** I would have absolutely loved the show if I had been in the audience. It's definately something to put you in the Christmas mood.That was so very sweet, and so very perfectly normal of Haley to go backstage and check on your friend that had fainted during the performance. I am sure he was aware of what had happened, and was of course concerned... you don't suppose she had fainted because she was standing so close to Haley do you...? **I'm sorry I probably should have elaborated on this a bit more in the story. My friend was actaully my Spanish teacher's daughter(he was performing that night as well) A couple of days ago he hurt his foot at a soccer game and had been walking w/ a cane. At candlelight though he didn't use his cane, so after our 1st performance, he fell and broke it and was rushed to the ER. Soo I think she was a bit shaken up by that incident plus its very tiring standing there for so long specially you're second time through. So I think she fainted as a combo of those 2 things but it was about 4 minutes before the performance ended, so Haley didn't go back just to check on her. He was going backstage because the show was over, but I still think it was nice of him to shake her hand anyways.Thanks for your questions...hope I answered everything.
