Duncan James has said Blue will tour again by the end of this year.
The One Love singer currently starring with Sheridan Smith in Legally Blonde in the West End revealed the boyband, who split in 2005 only to reunite and start recording again last year, are keen to get together to perform again.
Duncan told Closer magazine: It’s not that we don’t want to, it’s hard enough organising just my diary, never mind three other people’s too hopefully towards the end of this year we‘ll tour.
He added: The new stuff is really different for us it’s a bit like Ne-Yo. We’ve already got a single to release, we just need to figure out when.
Duncan revealed he and bandmates Lee Ryan, Antony Costa and Simon Webbe made the most of being young and famous when they originally toured as Blue, but he can’t do that now he’s in a stage show.
He said: I’ll be 32 in April and I physically can’t burn the candle at both ends, but in Blue, we could go out every night, get bladdered and go on stage the next day.
Sometimes we would come in so drunk from the night before, the tour manager would just press a button and put the mime track on!
You can’t get away with that in a theatre. I really respect this show and I can’t afford a bad performance.
