CIF : Tu n'as jamais senti d'animosité à ton égard, de jalousie... ?

Interview with Say Anything Interview
Charts In France (Thierry Cadet, editor): Hi Clemence for all users who do not know you yet, can you tell us d 'Where are you from?
Clemence: I'm from Paris and I'm 16 yearsalmost 17! (laughs) I'm the piano, guitar, singing and acting since I was little. I've always been passionate about the arts in general.
"I am a normal girl of my age"
CIF: Since the success of your first single "We all need love" with Johnny Hallyday in 2001, continued you go to school?
C: Yes, I have never stopped going. It's important for me to be a girl like any other. Then of course, in recent years I have upgraded schedule that I can move as I please, and I work a lot with me at home. But if I'm first as a normal girl of my age (smile).
CIF: You've never felt any animosity towards you, jealousy ... ?
C: Strangely, I have less experience at the age of 11 years today ... At the time there was some jealousy here and there, but now I am understood by my peers.I think in 16 years we are a little more mature and relationships inevitably suffer from them.
CIF: Do you remember the days when music came into your life?
C: Music is my life since the beginning because my father is composer (Ed.: Clemence's father is none other than Saint-Preux) has always rocked to the music. I followed him in recording studios, I followed his working sessions etc..With my sister, too, have always shared my passion for music. It was she who introduced me to the Beatles for example. I remember that registering sing on a tape recorder is small. This is the first time I discovered my voice. Today my sister is auteux for pleasure. There is talk she wrote texts, perhaps, on my first album.
CIF: You do not write you again?
C: No songs.I have a notebook where I try to let off steam by writing everything that comes to mind, but it stops there. I enjoy writing songs, but I think I should wait a bit and then work. For now it's my mother who writes texts.
"A blog? No, it's intimate"
CIF: You do not blog, like most girls your age?
C: (surprised) A Blog? No.And anyway I would not necessarily want my state of mind being read by Internet users. It's intimate.
CIF: What are your musical influences?
C: My two main influences are Toni Braxton and Whitney Houston.
CIF: Two singers voice? But you're not very vocal ...
C: Oh, well anyway ... although of course I do not sing like them! But I love their voices. And then I hear a lot of American rap, R & B's: 50 Cent, Usher, Alicia Keys ... Recently I had my period Ragga, Sean Paul etc.. I have very eclectic tastes.
"Johnny knew immediately put me at ease"
CIF: Returning to your career, what memories do you think of "We all need love", your duet with Johnny Hallyday? (editor's note: No. 4 in the Top 2001)
C: (amazed) A great memory! I must say that I was still together ...Johnny knew immediately put me at ease.
CIF: Today, with hindsight, how did you feel when you look at the images of the clip or you hear your voice?
C: I do not know me not! (laughs) I tell myself: "Oh, how cute is this little girl! (Laughs) I looked like I was watching a baby.

CIF: Then there is a new single in 2002, for which you as partners Philippe D'Avilla (editor's note: the triumph that comes from "Romeo and Juliet" and his hit "The kings of the world"), Pino Santoro and Nuno Resende, what memories you canned?
C: 'A word of love is a beautiful remembrance because the boys were adorable.
CIF: You can see them still?
C: No because they live in Belgium.
CIF: However, the single made the Top worse than Johnny ... (editor's note: No. 48 in September 2002)
C: Yes it's true, but it remains a success anyway.
CIF: Why make a long pause then?
C: I need to mature my voice because the character of Joan, I have to interpret on stage, grew gradually as the story ...
CIF: You mean "We all need love" and "One word love" are excerpts from the musical that prepares your daddy?
C: Yes that's .
"" Jeanne Romantic will be on the scene in 2006 "
CIF: Is there a date planned?
C: Not exactly. We know that" Jeanne la Romantique "will be onstage in 2006, but still a little vague on Room and dates. But I will keep the leading role and "defenseless", my new single, will be part of.For this reason I had to wait until my voice matures to save, because all these singles will be in the album of the show that we are preparing.
CIF: And the album Clemence?
C: One thinks, too. It will be different, I like that it's a personal album, with my influences, but I still have some time ahead of me ...(smile)
CIF: Why have recorded a duet with Jean-Baptiste Maunier?
C: Especially for my father that I did. "Concerto pour deux voix" is one of his compositions and I was very pleased with the idea of singing. My voice has bonded immediately, and we decided to do a duet. As Dad loved the voice of Jean-Baptiste, we offered and he accepted.
"With Jean-Baptiste, we do not become friends"
CIF: And there is once again a big success (editor's note: No. 3 in the Top March 2005). Do you remember Jean-Baptiste, did you become friends?
C: Yes. For several reasons: as Jean-Baptiste lived in Lyon and Paris to me. Then we do not have the same age. He is 14 and I'll be 17 ... It is this huge difference in our ages. And we do not have all the same interests and the same conversations.
CIF: If you had to describe "Defenseless" in a nutshell ...
C "Defenseless" is the passage from childhood to adolescence or adolescence to adulthood. It speaks to the fragility that is when we are finally changing ... (smile) But as wings that can give! It is a very good text, it is beautiful and it suits me well. It must be said that the song was written for me.
CIF: How did the video shoot?
C: It was magnificent! We shot it for several days in Cuba, in Havana. I met many people and I was very sad to leave ...

"" Star Academy "not interested"
CIF: Are you a fan of reality TV musical?
C: Not at everything. I do not watch "Star Academy" I'm not interested. I prefer the original songs that their times ...By cons I will gladly defend my single if it was because they sang live. I do not spit on it, but it is simply a program that does not interest me as a spectator.
CIF: What do you think of journalists who compare you to Priscilla from "Defenseless?
C, We 'have not the same age! Priscilla was 16 years and I have one more. I do not recognize myself in that direction "Lolita." I am a girl like any other.I have nothing against her, she sings well, she is pretty, but we do not have the same universe.
"Priscilla? It's funny"
CIF: do you listen his music?
C: Yes. But I think it suits her, it's funny.
CIF: Is it easier with the boys when we called Clemence?
C: Easy I do not know and I do not care a bit done! (laughs) I know that some come to see me because I sing and others are sincere. But I know very well make the difference between what is true and what is true.
CIF: Finally, Clemency Is currently in love?
C: (laughs) In love? No. But it is a big word ... I've been in love for the moment only once in my life, my feelings are strong enough. But you know, it takes a lot to me to fall in love ... (smile)
CIF: Clemence Thanks!
C: Thank you, see you soon!
