The 23 year old has played for a series of Italian clubs includingTorino and Napoli, but is currently enjoying a successful season at AC Milan. He is a candidate for Marcello Lippi's Italy World Cup squad andrepresented his country at under-21 level and at the 2008 Olympic Games.
