Hi I wanted to mention something about BWLI started my company after I recover from a Broken Foot injury I had while riding home from the Beach on my motorcycle I was running a Concrete reinforcement company yes I know I was only 17 years old at the timeHaving no job I went to buy some leather to make a repair on my jacketThe leather shop called “Leather Waves” I got a part time job there doing there repair workWhile recoveringSo there is more to BWL than just making thing people love to wearMy mother was a photographer but also made jewelry and sculpted painted she was a creative personShe encouraged my creativitySo from the age of 12 years old I would go to the jewelry supply store with her and sometimes make jewelry for my friends as hobby and make a little moneySo I was always making jewelry most of my lifeIn 1984 l left Leather Waves and began making custom leathers in November I registered my company name Bill Wall Leather was a Offical companyThe real story I would like to tell is not about how I started BWLIt’s about understanding the Client and how to make them something that tells people around them who they are on the insideBy wearing something on the outsideI am inspired by my Life experiences and the people I worked with over the last 35 yearsand creating something that makes them happyI have more ideas for things to make than time to make themI work with my handsAnd I am surrounded by Inspiring peopleI would Never try to Copycat someone’s ideas or conceptsSuccess is not achieved by copying somebodyIt’s about doing your own work and doing something you are inspired to through your own experience becoming your own unique companySadly people think it’s about making similar itemsIt’s about relationships and bringing Happiness to your ClientsI respect my relationships and everything they bring to BWL and all of the friends we have
