UPDATE:
No surprise, but Aaron Carter has been getting a lot of flack from Twi-fans because he was less than enthusiastic when we asked him about being compared to Robert Pattinson.
"I DIDN'T MEAN TO OFFEND ANY TWILIGHT FANS," Carter just tweeted. "I'M FLATTERED THAT I WAS COMPARED TO ROB PATTINSON. IN FACT, IM GOING TO RENT THE MOVIE 2NIGHT :)"

OMG! Aaron Carter is so not that excited about being compared to Robert Pattinson.
Just last week, Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli gushed about the pop singer's performance with Karina Smirnoff: "It was a little like watching Robert Pattinson tangoing in Twilight!"
But when we caught up with Carter yesterday, he was rather blah about the whole thing...
"It's cool," Carter said at the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Halloween Carnival in L.A. "I appreciate that."
Um, just appreciate that?
"I actually haven't seen Twilight," Carter said, adding, "I'm not personally into vampires."
And he's not into Smirnoff, either. He insisted he was happy to hear that the professional hoofer was spotted recently locking lips with San Francisco Giants pitcher Brad Penny. It means folks will stop asking if he and Smirnoff are an item.
"I don't hear any questions about it anymore," Carter said. "What we have is strictly ballroom."
Besides, the 21-year-old Carter added about the 31-year-old Smirnoff, "I'm into girls my own age."
