Aussie tab Famous can’t get enough of “Twilight” – and can’t get anything right.
Fresh off last week’s feature trashing Kristen Stewart as “snobby” and “arrogant” is a new cover story declaring that Stewart and co-star Robert Pattinson are “Coming to Australia!”
The magazine reports that “movie bosses” are pushing for the two leads to make a promotional push together through Australia. According to Famous, not only do producers hope to get Pattinson and Stewart to Sydney for the film’s November 19 premiere there, but “negotiations are also rumoured to have been made for the real-life couple to appear at the Australian Nickeloden Kids’ Choice Awards,” set to happen a few days prior.
Buried later in the piece, though, is an ‘out’ for the mag, which cites “the punishing production schedule on ‘Eclipse’” as possibly making it difficult for Pattinson and Stewart to come to Australia for “New Moon.” How convenient.
Here’s an even better ‘out.’ A “Twilight” insider tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth to the rumor at all” that Pattinson and Stewart might make premiere of awards show appearance in Australia in November.
