I had been in IL DIVO's Tokyo concert on 9/14.... they are just as fab as always!! I still remembered the first time I went their concert in HK in 2007... their stage are fantastic and amazing!!

Hi everyone，just got back to BJ. Would love to share my experience of il divo concert in HK with you.
I arrived Asia world expo arena around 7:30, half hour earlier. Just wanted to see the arena, see the people, and feel the excitement. I stood outside entrance for awhile, I saw people kept arriving, some by cars, some by walking (might just got off trains or buses). I can’t say it’s an all female scenario, lots of old men, young men accompanying their wives, girlfriends, and even some men came alone or in group, that did surprise me! In front of me there were two local young men (they might in their uni or just graduated that kind of age) were taking pics (holding their tickets by their cheeks), seemed they really wanted to memorize this moment forever, they were definitely il divo fans! A van arrived, two western families with two teen boys came out. Another van arrived, two senior couples came out and they talked in Spanish. You can understand that the audience came from different parts of the world and from all walks of life.

While we were queuing to get in our block, sb tapped on our shoulders. Dear me! An old friend from Singapore and his wife, what a nice surprise. He told me he was a fan of il divo and he took his wife along to the concert and they were based in HK now. And I told them I kidnapped my hubby to the show, cos I was the fan! 
My seat was on row k, very close to the stage which meant I could see our divoes clearly without a binocular. Settled down, started feeling extremely excited, thinking divoes were just somewhere there within a few yards. Suddenly felt so thirsty, and had to beg hubby fetching me a drink, or I would faint! Ha-ha….


The arena hall were almost full, (later I heard it was a audience of 6000), some girls wore evening gowns and some guys dressed in suits, most were in smart casual which was nice as respect to divoes. People were chatting, laughing, smiling, watching, taking pics, you could see and feel the excitement there. In my row, more men than women, a local couple on the far left, and a white guy in his forties, us, and two men in their late twenties, and another two couples. I knew I didn’t take a camera, but I also knew there were fans would take the biggest possible cameras in. and I was right, in the il divo official forum, the best quality pictures were taken by a few HK fans, especially Wilma, special thanks to her! Hehe…actually my little greed was focusing on performance of divos instead of busy with camera! Hehe……
The overture started, OMG, the melody was so familiar and touching and the guys were just about to come to take the stage, don’t have any words to describe it but excitement excitement and excitement! The audience started cheering, shouting, screaming, the atmosphere was red hot… and here they came with their first song and the lost song from the last show “somewhere” which meant as they promised, sometime somehow somewhere they met the fans again! And don’t forget it was Carlos who started the song, when his voice came out, all cuties fainted, I believed! Was it because of his magnetic baritone voice or simply because it was CARLOS, I didn’t know, but it was overwhelming.

Here is a report from a HK fan, her name is Wilma, what she described is exactly what I felt and wanted to report to you all. Her report is in purple print and mine little comments in black. Here it comes:
I really couldn't remember the rundown, (me either) but I'm sure HONG KONG BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN! The show started at around 8:25 and ended at around 10:45. We danced so much during PQTME, LVSA, and there was so many standing ovation (not for the encore, at the end of a song!) I think at least 3 times! This time the Hong Kong crowd was very much more dynamic than last time, so many people stood up and danced during LVSA that I thought I was going to cry, the guys really bathed in the applause and cheers, they were in the best of moods and it shows, with all the smiles, cheeky grins (even a LOT from urs, even more so from David!)( yes, that’s true, they all became naughtier then before!!), waves, winks we got for the night I think they send everyone home not only HAPPY but ECSTATIC. I've got a few waves and bows from each of them and well, I came home in a mess of emotions  ( me too, a mess of emotions, hehe..)

Special moments:
- Someone missed Seb's spotlight again in the first few songs so he had to jump to David's for the spotlight. (we all laughed a big way, Seb was so funny!)
- Before ETILAY, Sebastien said "Dor Tse" (which is Thank you in cantonese) and we shouted back Bonjour, he said, "That's too complicated for me, I sometimes forget my lyrics already and I can't handle that." (or something like that  )( Seb was cute and shy, and his voice was great when hearing it live. Another moment, seb said some fans said he was too serious when singing, he should smile more, he said how come you could smile while singing sad songs, but I could smile for you, and he put on a smiling face for the audience for quite awhile, until the audience took enough photos and laughed enough hehe…)
- During PQTME, me and my friend Apple kept shouting GO DAVID, GO DAVID! And that cheeky man WRIGGLED! (Yes, in live show, you can see personality, David was so cute, he expressed his feelings straightforward, and he is an honest and loyal guy, absolutely adorable)

- During LVSA, we jumped to our feet and danced and a lot of people followed along, (*hand raised* I did, I danced! ) they were really happy to see such reaction and ALL of them danced! Of course, I had my eyes on the American  (well, I had mine on the Spanish, lol…Carlos was too sexy to handle, but you just couldn’t keep your eyes off him, ohoh…)
- When they said it's time to end the show we all shouted "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DON'T GOOOOOOOO." And we were SO persistent they really laugh out loudly and kept saying thank you! (the fans were so sweet and cute, and at moment, it became very sexy too. For me personally, I just wanted they would sing forever there and the evening would never end, really didn’t want them go)

The Hong Kong crowd loved them, we cheered, screamed, kept yelling things, we reacted to their every line, and I really think they loved it, you could feel they have put on extra effort in their songs and kept very close to the stage to be closer to the fans. It was SO much better than when they were here last time in my opinion. (that evening, the guys put lots of efforts in their songs, and they were in very good moods. their music was so powerful, especially Adajio, the high pitch took my breath away)
Once again, thank you URS, SEBASTIEN, DAVID AND CARLOS for a GREAT evening, and definitely looking forward to the NEXT evening with you already next time in Hong Kong! and THANK YOU to all the lovely divas I've met tonight, keep in touch and hope the Hong Kong show gave you great memories!

I heard the guys went to peak to see the harbor view, I went there as well, unluckily I didn’t meet them there, but they didn’t inform me when they would be on the peak, did they??? Hahaha…
I left HK on 28th, same day as the guys, but they took flight to Jakarta, and me took car to Shenzhen. Some lucky Korean girls met two of them in airport though. 
Anyway, I had a wonderful evening with il divo and a wonderful time in HK. Thank you Carlos, David, Sebastien and Urs for the great evening. Hope you guys will go strength to strength, and sometime somehow somewhere will give more fans another chance to meet you again!
