Fernando Llorente Fernando Llorente has declared that he wants to force his way back intoVicente del Bosque's World Cup plans by firing Athletic Bilbao tosuccess this season.
Thestriker scored 18 goals in all competitions last season, which won hima place in the Spanish national team for friendlies against Chile andEngland, against whom he scored his first international goal. Inaddition, he was in the Confederations Cup squad.
However, the24-year-old has been left out of the last two selections and knows hemust do more than ever in order to be included in la Furia Roja's WorldCup unit.
"I'm convinced that I will score more goals than everthis year, I have great motivation and it helps that there is a thirdcompetition [the Europa League]," Llorente explained in an interviewwith AS.
"It's a very special season, I want to have a great year and be in South Africa," he concluded.
