Celebrity masterchef and pop star teaches Leeds to love pork

Celebrity Masterchef Liz McClarnon gave a culinary masterclass in Leeds.
The winner of last year's BBC competition was at Leeds City College's Thomas Danby Campus to demonstrate how to cook up some tasty pork dishes.
Part of a nationwide tour for the Love Pork campaign, the Atomic Kitten singer showed how to make the most of the meat.
She said: "Like many people I want my food to be as fresh as possible.
"From talking to the chefs I've worked with during and since Celebrity Masterchef, using seasonal ingredients is the best place to start.
"Luckily pork works really well with most of the fruit and vegetables in season in Britain right now.
It made developing recipes a breeze." And her top tip for cooking pork? Don't overcook it.
"Since working with Love Pork I have learnt a lot - the first thing being just how easy pork is to cook," she added.
"In a nutshell that simply means don't overcook it."
Last month she signed a new recording contract and her self-penned new single is due out in November.
