Google Assistant Frozen Stories: One of My Early Days as Queen by Elsa
Character: Elsa, Anna, Olaf
Setting: campfire
Me? All right... Oh! I'll tell a story about one of my early days after I became queen.
[Olaf] Oooh-oooh! I'll start you off Elsa. Long ago there was a tortured ice princess who decided to—
[Elsa] Thanks Olaf, but this story begins shortly after my coronation.
[Olaf] Oh, good! Because I know that one, like the whole thing. Literally line per line.
[Elsa] Yes. Well, after all the eternal winter stuff, you can imagine how important it was to me to be an excellent queen. I was afraid of messing up again. So, I made sure to attend to all of my duties, and said "yes" to everyone.
[Anna] She did! Well, everyone except me.
[Elsa] Hey, that's not true!
[Anna] Oh, it's a little true.
[Elsa] Fine, but only a little bit. Anyway, one day, very early in the morning, . . .
[Anna] Like, still-dark-outside early?
[Elsa] Yes. I had just finished reading and signing a huge pile of tedious documents and trade agreements, when my chief advisor Kai came in to escorts me into the village.
flashback harp sounds
[Kai] The stone mason said he could meet you at the bank tomorrow morning. You'll need to inspect the damage path with him before he could start work.
[Elsa] Alright.
[Kai] Now. Before the harvest festival, you should meet with the committee. They want your opinion on the new banner. Oh, and Princess Anna was hoping to see you for dinner this evening!
[Elsa] I'm sorry but I can't. We have too much left to do.
[Mrs. Wilt] (pants) Queen Elsa! Queen Elsa! A-a moment?
[Elsa] Yes, of course! Hello Mrs. Wilt, how are you?
[Mrs. Wilt] My neighbours wanted to rip out the beautiful tree I planted. (pants) They say it's going to get too big! So, I wonder if you could—
[Elsa] Help you talk to them? Of course, Mrs. Wilt.
[Kai] It might be difficult to squeeze that in today. Uh—
[Elsa] How about I stop by tomorrow afternoon?
[Mrs. Wilt] Oh, that would be wonderful! Thank you, Your Majesty! Thank you!
bell rings
[Kai] What's that?
[Man 1] Fire...
[Man2] I smell smoke!
[Kai] Everyone, there's a fire! Your Majesty, I'll call the fire brigade.
[Elsa] I'm on my way!
[Kai] Oh oh, wait! Wait!
(Elsa continued to go to the fire scene)
[Elsa] Get back!
(She used her powers to take out the fires)
[Elsa] Is everyone alright?
[Man3] Oh, yes! Thank you! Thank you so much!
[Kai] Oh, Your Majesty, the village story time is in thirty minutes. And you, well, I-I'm s-sorry but you s-smelled of soot and you look very o—uhh, tired.
[Elsa] Ugh. I'm sure I look awful. You're just being polite, Kai. (sighs) Can we reschedule the harvest festival committee for tomorrow?
[Kai] Uhh-of course, Your Majesty.
[Elsa] Oh great. I'll go back to the castle, clean up, change, and rest for five minutes. That way I can still read to the children.
(at the castle)
[Elsa] (yawns) Just a short nap. Then I'll be back on my . . . feet.
time skip harp sounds
[Elsa] Oh no! What time is it?
[Anna] Elsa . . . it's okay!
[Elsa] No it's not, I'm late! I'm supposed to read to the ch—
[Anna] It's alright. I handled story time.
[Elsa] You did?
[Anna] Yes. I took care of it. I can help, you know. You're not alone, and you don't have to do everything all by yourself.
(back to storytelling)
[Elsa] And Anna was right. That's how I began to learn that no single person can do everything—not even the Queen. Oh, and naps are wonderful.
[Olaf] Wow! A story and a lesson, all wrapped up into one.
