Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart don't use Twitter, according to their Twilight co-star Peter Facinelli.
Unverified accounts credited to both stars have emerged on the social networking website in recent months.
But in a message on his own Twitter page, Facinelli said: “Spoke to Rob and Kristen. THEY DO NOT HAVE TWITTER. ”
“@rtp_ and @IAmKStewart and all other posers... it's not cool to mislead people.”
He added in another tweet: "Nikki, Kellan, Ashley, Elizbeth, and Jackson also DO NOT have Twitter. No more posers please!"
Meanwhile, Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen in the franchise, also told his followers that he needed to get some sleep because he had vampire “fight training in the AM”.
The actor and the rest of the cast of the Twilight Saga are currently in Vancouver shooting the third film in the series, Eclipse.
