i also wanted to take the exam .but i have asked my teacher the question ,and he replyed that one who is not a student in english specialty can not take the exam. however, a net friend told me that there is a cet 8 for students who are not in english . you may look though the net of english exam.

hey~my major is not english while i took TEM8 2 yrs ago..i never heard that only english major students can take TEM8. Er..maybe caz of my school is a foreign language school? I am not sure...well...one of my friends he also took TEM 8 too...at that time his major was japanese...anyway i think if you wanna do, there should be have a way~~~
