2017年最后一次目击

Mahono wasn’t far from where I’d left her, lying in the shade of a mopanie tree, as the sun set. I’d parked in the rocky drainage line close to her. As it got dark she moved into the open to come and lie up next to me in a patch of soft sand. She spent ages grooming herself and soon after dark headed west. It was a difficult walk on 3 legs. Her 2 front legs are still strong, the left back leg stump has healed really well, but her back right paw is still sore and splayed. She was using it now to walk, a very strange walk as she pushed it aside with each step. Almost skanky leg style. She fumbled over a rock, but it didn’t phase her. Once on an elephant path heading west, she picked up speed just on her 2 front legs, but it’s tiring work and soon she was back to 3 legs. We headed down into the Nyaswe river where she drank from a deep pool before heading up the hill to rest in an impala midden. The stars were all out in a clear breathless sky. I parked next to her and fell asleep, having only had a few hours last night as I had then desperately stayed awake so as not to lose her. My sleep was too deep and she slipped away.金跟了mahono很长时间 跟着她走路 喝水 乘凉 mahono一会用两条腿一会用三条腿走路 有一条彻底不好用 后来金跟这她来到一堆黑斑羚粪肥堆边上 mahono休息 金离的不远 睡着了 后来mahono溜走了 金睡的太熟了因为没休息好 其实他是不想跟丢的
