David Hodges, the former Evanescence keyboardist who's been writing with Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta and others, has landed the opening slot on the Daughtry club tour that starts this weekend. Hodges has also been signed to Warner Bros. Records by Kara DioGuardi, who's a Senior Vice President of A&R there. On the tour, Hodges will perform songs from his The Rising EP, which comes out Aug. 11.
