The Ten Most ... of Prince Yan Xun (The English version of the Chinese article I wrote)
Yan Xun is a controversial role in “Princess Agents”. This role is full, colourful and close to human nature, no matter it is in the novel or the TV drama. He’s real because he does not belong to either side of justice or evilness, but full of complex personalities. This is not a world of black and white, good and evil. There is nothing that is absolutely right or wrong or a person who is absolutely good or bad. Yan Xun is sincere and pure, calm and enduring, domineering and cold. We see how he grew from a boy to a king through a series of sufferings and pains. We witness how he changed from a boy without sadness and treated everyone sincerely to a king who had everything controlled in his hands. When we recalled the smart boy who was riding a horse at the beginning of the drama, we cannot help feeling painful. What makes this perfect boy chained in hatred and loneliness for the rest of his life? Yan Xun is a real character, with all kinds of conflicts and real emotions and feelings, which touches the hearts of every viewer. Of course, there are one hundred Hamlets in different people’s view. Everyone has a different understanding and opinion on a character. In this article, I tried to list the ten “most” of Yan Xun and hope that this can raise more discussion on this topic.
1. The sincerest Yan Xun
There are many pictures in the beginning of the drama which portraits the endearing side of Yan Xun. He is hearty and naughty. This can clearly be seen in his interaction with Yu Wen Yue and Xinger. Yu Wen Yue is a person who was sensitive to others’ schemes and Xinger is a strong woman who hardly trusted others, but both of them show the real emotions before Yan Xun. Xinger, as a slave that time, dared argue with Yan Xun and Yu Wen Yue also got rid of his seriousness and played with Yan Xun. We can see that Yan Xun’s pure and child-like character, smiling when happy and playing as he likes, has melted the coldness in Yu Wen Yue and Xinger’s hearts.
Another moment which shows his sincerity is on the hunting ground. When Yu Wen Huai tried to make him angry, he responded calmly, “The knives of Yan Bei men are for killing the enemies who stepped on our country, but not the innocent women.” Every word is full of power and lighten people’s hearts. He did not hide his feeling and insisted on his point of view even when he was facing Yu Wen Huai, who was so cunning and scheming, Everyone is willing to make friends with a hearty person like him.
2. The warmest Yan Xun
Besides the interaction with other characters, Yan Xun’s personality is revealed in his behaviours in a very lively way, thanks to the arrangement of the author. Do you still remember the first scene he appeared—the smart and handsome boy riding a horse energetically? Do you remember the smile which is as warm as sunlight? If it is said that Yu Wen Yue is as cold as the moon, Yan Xun is as warm as the sun. And in this scene, the most unforgettable moment is when he almost hit a citizen, he immediately stopped his horse. This shows that he respected lives and cared the safety of others.
Since Shawn is good at riding, he could finish the riding scene very smoothly and skillfully. This scene is so exciting and eye-catching! Besides riding, archery is another attractive point. His arrows accurately shot every target on the hunting ground. When he was fighting with soldiers in the forest, he shot the arrows like the wind. This agility makes the image of Yan Xun brighter and more unforgettable.
3. The naughtiest Yan Xun
I enjoy watching the interaction between Yan Xun and Yu Wen Yue. The comparison has made both characters more vivid. The description is very successful. The naughtiness of Yan Xun is more obvious when it is compared with Yu Wen Yue’s seriousness. There are many funny interactions between these two characters. They often argued with each other in a funny and friendly way. The scene that gives me the deepest impression is the one when Yan Xun jumped onto Yu Wen Yue’s bed and played with him. When he succeeded in playing a trick on his best friend, he smiled proudly like a naughty child. Just as Yu Wen Yue said, he was like a monkey, a very lovely monkey, indeed!
4. The Yan Xun who showed the deepest love
Yan Xun is a warm man. He was always beside XInger when she needed help. His love for Xinger was never hidden. He loved and hated without any hesitation and fear. He would show his love bravely, without caring everything. One of the scenes which best showed his deep love for Xinger is the scene in the prison. Even though he himself was seriously injured, trapped in danger and had no idea about his future, he tried his best to comfort Xinger. What he cared was her safety, while his injury was not important at all. He was afraid that she was cold and hungry. He comforted her even it was hard for him to smile. He made a promise that he would try his best to protect her. He viewed her even more important than his own life. He cut his finger to save her. Every viewer will be touched by his deep love.
5. The most respectful Yan Xun
The warmth, kindness and deep love have given credits to this role and it is expected that this certainly will attract many fans. Yan Xun is a respectful man, who respects all lives and all people, no matter which social status they belong to. In his opinion, everyone is equal. He does not care whether a person is rich or poor. He saved people decisively on the hunting ground and treated Xinger respectfully even though she was a slave. When they got trapped and she was injured in her leg, he carried her on his back, not caring that she was a slave and he was a prince. Some people might say he treated Xinger well just because he loved her, but we can see that he also respected other people such as Xiao Qi and Xiao Ba. When he was riding a horse and almost hit a man, he stopped his horse immediately. He also treated Feng Mian, his servant, like a brother.

6. The most heart-breaking Yan Xun
Yan Xun in Jiu You Tai must be the moment which breaks most of the fans’ heart. The most miserable thing is that in the previous moment you are indulged in the sweet memory, and soon after that you find that all of your family have been killed. Yan Xun believed in justice in the past, but what he got was various kinds of cruel treatments. A prince who was always loved by others fell into the Hell from the Heaven, being stepped on, humiliated and tortured. The scars kept being torn apart and the heart was stabbed again and again. Helpless and left alone, all his family and friends had left, and he was the one to endure everything. Outsiders can never understand this kind of pain. He did not care the knives stabbing into his body and the arrows shooting through his hearts. He stood up again and again. He never yielded, never accepted the King’s order and never showed his weakness. We can see a bright and warm boy has now become a strong man who never compromised and gave up.
7. The happiest Yan Xun
Some people think that the happiest moment for Yan Xun is the time when he was still the hostage, but in my opinion, it should be the three years when he was kept in captivity. Even though all his family had been slaughtered, at least Chu Qiao stood beside him. Since the time when they were in prison, they relied on each other and had become an indispensable part in each other’s life. They overcame many dangers and threats. They could understand and support each other. This must be the sweetest memory for Yan Xun. Chu Qiao did not say any word of love to him, but they had built up a kind of understanding which did not need to be conveyed by any words. Nothing is more precious than giving a person warmth when he is abandoned in cold. Jiu You Tai had taken away his family, but also given him the best time with Chu Qiao, which became the only force to encourage him not to give up. This memory remained the only clean land in his heart which was never polluted by revenge and hatred.
8. The most miserable Yan Xun
Yan Xun still had Chu Qiao after Jiu You Tai. This was the only comfort he got and the only stream of light he could see in his dark world. However, after he went back to Yan Bei, he gained the power, but lost the closeness with Chu Qiao. It is often said that the road to the king is full of loneliness. Yan Xun had gained the power, but lost his family, his friends and his love. Would he be happy? This is even more miserable than the boy who bathed in blood on Jiu You Tai. As the lyric the theme song of Yan
Xun says, “The city trapped the lonely soul. All the blood and the scars on the land were the witness of bathing in blood.” During the event of Jiu You Tai, Chu Qiao would be heart broken for him but at the end of the drama, he was completely alone. No one would care when his heart was bleeding. No one would give him comfort and support when he was weak. He had to face everything himself. What could be more tragic than losing all the loved ones and staying alone for the rest of the life?
9. The most domineering Yan Xun
Some viewers said that Yan Xun is even more charming than the first two stages after he has become “evil”. During an interview of Shawn, he mentioned that Yan Xun was like a cub in the early stage, then gradually grew into a young wolf. He did not waste any time. He kept on strengthening and preparing himself for revenge in every minute. Having experienced the tempests and catastrophes, he finally became a mature wolf king. His cold eyes and every act added strength and domineering to the new Yan Bei King. The most powerful is the scene when the leaders of other tribes were having a feast, he suddenly appeared and scared everyone there with his violence. He said each word very clearly and strongly, “I am Yan Xun, your new King.” Every action is smooth and full of power. Not only are the leaders, but also the viewers are convinced and scared by this new Yan Bei King.
10. The most unforgettable Yan Xun
Yan Xun is an outstanding and colourful character. Of course, everyone has a different Yan Xun. This is a full, vivid, comprehensive character who can be decoded in many ways. No matter the smart young boy at the beginning, the enduring and calm man in the middle, or the cold and cruel king in the third stage, have their own fans and supporters. In my view, the most unforgettable image he gives me is he is sincere, hearty, kind, warm as sunlight and pure as stream water. Even when I was watching the part after he had become the king, I still recalled the picture of the smiling boy at the very beginning of the drama. This image has deeply rooted in my heart and will never change again.

一笑一泪千百意，回顾燕洵的微笑与眼泪
有些人的微笑特别扣人心弦，轻轻浅笑倾城倾国；有些人的眼泪份外令人心疼，滴滴清泪锥心刺骨。燕洵却是一个无论笑或哭都会触动人心的人。在整套剧集里，他微笑的画面可说是多不胜数，随便GOOGLE或百度一下，都有无数的相片出来。而他哭的场面并不多，大概只有几场，但每一场都令人心疼心碎。在这里，让我们一起回顾那些经典的画面，燕洵灿烂如阳光的笑容，还有注入我们心田的泪水吧！
1. 出场时骑马的笑
很多人因为燕洵出场的英姿而爱上了他。这个画面是多么的美好啊！白衣的少年带着充满阳光味道的笑容策马奔驣，"鲜衣怒马少年郎"的形象生动地跃现眼前。第一印象在对于一个人的认识有着关键作用，就是这个画面，已把燕洵这个暖若阳光温润如玉的少年的形象，深深刻在大家的心坎里了。
2. 投壶时故意不中调皮一笑
这个笑容真的很可爱，我看了无数遍还是那么喜欢！窦骁的微动作真的十分细致到位，鼓一鼓腮，嘴角微微一动，然后摸了摸耳垂，充满了孩子气，刻意隐藏实力，然后来个调皮一笑，好像在无辜的说着："你说什么呀？我什么都不知道..." 这扮猪吃虎，装腔作势的技巧，真的发挥到极致了，连宇文怀也拿他没法子，哈哈...
3. 招牌的笑
这个镜头我忘了是哪个场景了，不过这可说是燕洵的招牌笑容，像明媚的阳光一样，充满朝气、自信、活力、生命力，还有燃烧着的青春！用"明眸皓齿"来形容便最好不过了！那笑容没有半点掩饰，把开朗、乐观、率真都全部表露出来，这么纯真的笑容，就如清溪的流水一样，清新而润泽洗涤人心。当心情不好时，只要看看燕洵的笑，也会被他的快乐所感染！
4. 勾舌头的笑
很多世子妃都说很喜欢这个笑容，我发现单单一个微笑，窦骁的精湛演技也可以演出不少变化和层面，像之前的摸耳垂，又像这儿的勾舌头，简单的一笑配合特别的细微动作，更是传神深入人心。这样顽皮活泼，充满玩味的笑，真的令众多世子妃无力招架啊！
5. 和宇文玥耍闹时的笑
燕洵和玥公子真是一对活宝，互相映衬着，令对方的性格更为鲜明，这一对兄弟真的描写得很成功！面对万年冰山宇文玥冷公子，燕洵不时用他的热情逗弄他，宇文玥越是不理他，他越是得意洋洋，十足一个作弄了人家得手后一副得瑟的样子，我想玥公子看到这样的他，一是无可奈何甘拜下风，二是可能会忍不住偷笑出来吧！
6. 恶作剧得逞后的洋洋得意一笑
前期的燕洵很喜欢恶作剧，这一刻逗逗宇文玥，下一刻跟星儿玩玩，在恶作剧得逞后，还要得意洋洋的笑。很喜欢这张图的微笑，笑得那么开心，那么孩子心性，笑得连眼睛都要眯起来了。我时常会想，能拥有这种笑容的人，都是拥有一颗赤子之心的，他的心里没什么城府，只要能捉弄到别人，便已开心得欢天喜地了。对于这种赤诚的人而言，幸福和快乐都在身边，都是那么垂手可得，他们是世上最快乐的一群，因为要他们开心满足，实在太容易了。
7. 与楚乔一起退敌后的会心微笑
能和深爱的人一起并肩作战，击退敌人是一件幸福的事。燕洵和楚乔之间的感情，没有什么甜言蜜语，却有着无限的惺惺相惜相遇相交，两人都是渴望自由和平等，对将来充满憧憬。虽然多次舍身相救，燕洵始终没得到楚乔正面的响应，然而，这一笑却把所有都说明了，不用言传，也不用千言万语，只是简单一笑，已是心意相通—大家已是同一阵线，是共同战斗的伙伴了！
8. 对母亲表示有喜欢的人时的羞涩一笑
别以为阳光大男孩不会羞涩，就像很多人一样，一说起心上人，便害羞得不知所措了。明明承认了心中有乾坤，却不肯承认有喜欢的人，不过这孩子也许不知道，他的微笑和眼神已出卖了他心中的秘密了。在全剧中，燕洵的笑多数都是爽朗的，这样羞涩的笑实在少见。
9. 断指后令楚乔安心的笑
一个男人若真的爱你，会爱到什么程度？是为爱到为了你而置自己于不顾，甚至牺牲性命也在所不惜。在燕洵身受重伤危在旦夕时，他的心里始终记挂楚乔的安危，他明知自己身负重任，仍不惜断指救她。断指后还忍受着锥心之痛，微微一笑安慰楚乔，告诉她自己没事，这样深厚的一份爱，相信任何女生都会为之动容吧！
10. 与恋人相依的苦乐交集的笑
这个笑容充满了复杂情感和矛盾，既洋溢着在最艰难时刻，最爱的人就在自己身边的幸福，也刻写着一瞬间失去所有亲人，从天堂跌到地狱的悲苦。虽然也是苦中强颜欢笑，但这笑容却跟之前的，仍带着乐观的笑容不同，这微笑多了一份沧桑，眼中亦已没有了希望，因为，他也不知道自己能活到何时。
11. 变得冰冷漠然后，只有面对阿楚时才会有的温柔的笑
在经历九幽台事件后，燕洵已很少再笑了。被幽禁在莺歌小院里的他，眼里只有淡漠、冰冷、沉着，彷佛没有感情。只有面对阿楚，这个在他陷于困境时仍对他不离不弃的人，才会露出发自真心的微笑。虽然已不再像从前那样，热情奔放的露齿而笑，但对于饱历沧桑苦难的他而言，这个笑容已是十分难得了。
看完了充满甜意的微笑后，让我们甘后尝苦苦更苦，体会一下燕洵的泪吧！他是个硬铮铮的男子汉，再说，燕家的男人流血不流泪，燕洵哭的画面并不多，但每一个都那么令人疼惜心碎，不禁对他的悲惨遭遇感同身受。
1. 在狱中回忆和家人一起的片段时的泪水
这段回忆本来是那么美好，燕洵的童年是幸福的，得到了父母和兄姐视如至宝的疼爱，然而，也许是感叹自己已离家多时，对家乡和家的牵肠挂肚，又或许是能预见残酷的未来的痛苦，令此时的燕洵笑中带泪。然而，他却不想阿楚担心，更不想在自己决心保护的人面前流泪，所以只是默默的落泪，但从微微颤抖的身体，我们可以看出他在极力压抑情绪下的痛苦。
2. 九幽台上充满悲恸、愤怒、无助的泪水
在九幽台事件初期，他始终没有哭，纵然听到三十六下丧钟，深知自己命不久矣，他始终坚强面对，脸上一片淡然，目光里无畏无惧。在得知全家被屠时，他也一直强忍着，死死的忍住泪水，然而，在面对父亲的首级时，他终于崩溃了，但也只是怒吼、流泪，没有声泪俱下的哭出来。若是其他人，在如此惨绝人寰的折磨下，早已哭得撕心裂肺了，但硬铮铮的他却在苦苦强撑着，看得观众的心被紧紧拧住抽痛。直至他的母亲来了，他才像个受了委屈的孩子一样，在母亲的怀里放声痛哭，让感情尽情释放，任泪水疯狂奔流。在母亲怀里，他不用再硬撑强忍，他，就是一个受尽伤害，只求尽情痛哭的孩子啊！而到了母亲为救他自尽后，他的眼泪已哭干了，即使悲痛欲绝，也已哭不出来，连哭泣的权利也被上天剥夺，上天真的从没对他仁慈，欲哭而无泪，无疑是人生最悲痛的事了。
3. 面对宇文玥时的哭泣
即使失去了亲人，燕洵始终不相信，他会在顷刻间痛失所有，甚至连朋友都离他而去。他一直都是信任宇文玥的。赵西风所言虽令他犹疑，但他始终要亲自问问自己的挚友才会完全相信。可是，宇文玥的答案却像一把刀毫不留情捅进他的伤口里。其实宇文玥是可以趁此机会解释清楚的，自己不用背负黑锅，也不用给燕洵不必要的折磨。但他却宁可采用话只说半句，不清不楚的态度，告诉燕洵伤害他的就是自己，把燕洵心中仅余的一丝友情，一线希望也残忍扼杀。
自此以后，燕洵再没有哭过了，他长大了，成熟了，变强了，纵使成王之路充满痛苦，即使所有自己所爱的人都已离他而去了，他再也没有哭过。是强大到不再需要眼泪？还是已被伤害到麻木，再也流不出泪水了？悲伤至极点却再淌不出半点眼泪，一切都由自己默默咬牙承忍，如此坚强，如此隐忍的他，也是他最令人疼惜的地方吧！

"燕"字回时，"洵"丽夺目，全方位剖析燕洵之美
首先说明一下，这里的美不是一般形容女子的美，在我心中，燕洵是个百份百的男子汉，但说要选一个字来形容他，我选的并不是"帅"，而是"美好"的"美"。关于燕洵的性格，上次在<十个燕洵之最>已浅谈过了，今次主要想探讨一下他的外貌。燕洵是我看过多部古装剧后，觉得最迷人最美好的男子，尤其经过窦骁精彩的演绎，更是鲜明生动的跃现于屏幕之上。若只单单说"帅"，总觉得不够充份，也太流于表面化。燕洵散发出来的，不单是朝气焕发，英姿飒飒，也不止于外貌上的俊俏，而是一种从骨子里渗出来的，一份别具气质的独特美，从他的每个细致表情动作，举手投足，都丝毫无遗的表露出来，铭刻于观众心中。
1. 眼睛
很喜欢燕洵的眼睛，也许因为窦骁也是个活力充沛，朝气勃勃的男生，他演的燕洵，若说哪些地方最令我印象深刻，我会首先想起那双朗若流星的眼睛。细心观察燕洵的眸子，一双透着灵气的丹鳯眼，就像会说话似的，在不同的场景，不同的氛围里有着不同的色彩--调皮活泼的(调戏宇文玥和星儿时)、坚定不移的(说要带星儿去燕北时)、大义凛然的(在人猎场上坚守不伤无辜妇孺时)、孩子气的(豪放地大热闹时)、朝气阳光的(骑马射箭时)、乐观自信的(在狱中安慰星儿时)、无畏无惧的(得知前往九幽台九死一生时)、决不屈服的(违抗圣旨时)、悲痛欲绝的(得知家人惨死时)、彷徨无助的(在母亲怀里哭时)、万念俱灰的(在狱中刚苏醒时)、沉着内敛的(被幽禁在鶑歌院时)、霸气毕现的(大婚当日宣布造反时)、杀气腾腾的(杀敌逃离长安时)、狠辣无情的 (在全牛宴中杀人立威时)、凄怆苦涩的(在失去阿楚时)……各种复杂的情绪，都用眼神巨细无遗的表现出来。不得不说，窦骁的眼神演绎真的很到位，很精彩，很饱满。眼睛是灵魂之窗，大家不妨透过燕洵的眼睛，去试着了解燕洵的灵魂深处。
2. 微笑
"最暖不过燕洵笑，九幽台后无处寻"，燕洵的微笑也是他另一个最迷人之处，他的笑，不矫情，不造作，全是发自肺腑，出于至情至性的笑意，像洒在大地上的灿烂阳光，又像轻抚人心的和暖清风。最喜欢的是那带着半分调皮，像孩子一样的笑，只有胸怀坦荡，心无城府，率真爽朗的人，才会有这样的微笑吧！在他眼里，什么都是美好的，是善良的，虽然他也明白世态的丑恶炎凉，但始终以赤子之心待人，脸上总是挂着送人温暖的笑意，四周的人也会被他的快乐，他的乐观所感染。
3. 发型
说起发型，不得不说说燕洵的辫子，前期的发型给人的是活泼的感觉，那些辫子真的很可爱，也很豪迈，最适合坦荡荡的燕北男儿了。中期的燕洵是散发的，那留海为他添了几份沧桑，隐忍，内敛，这时期的发型，也是我最喜欢的。后期的虽然也是辫子，但却是截然不同的气质--霸道、凌厉、充满皇者之气。可以看出，发型师在他的发型设计上下了不少功夫。
4.白牙
燕洵的招牌表情，除了是微笑外，就一定是露出那一口大白牙了。不得不说，十窦骁的牙齿真的很整齐很白啊！燕洵笑起来时，特别喜欢露出那口萌到不得了的白牙，非常可爱又爽朗，为他的形象加了不少分数，相信以后问起观众燕洵是什么样子的，大家都不会不约而同地答道：有一口很好看的大白牙！
5.身材
这个我起初时没有留意的，毕竟我在看人时，通常首先会看眼睛，身材倒是不怎么注意。看了一些燕洵的视频后，发现很多人都说他的腰(应该是窦骁的腰吧)很小，肩膀宽，身型很好看，这时我才开始留意，而且十分认同。这应该是运动型的人的身材吧！剧外的窦骁热爱各种运动，剧中的燕洵是个骑射精湛，身手了得的燕北男儿，这身材无疑为这个角色增添了不少说服力。
6.衣服
虽然在故事里燕洵命运坎坷，受尽了作者各种暴虐，但在剧外却深得服装师的喜爱！在B站看到一个有关燕洵服饰的视频，原来他共换了30多套衣服！无论是前期的华贵锦衣，中期的清雅朴素，还是后期的王者风格，每套衣服穿在他身上都这么好看！每次看燕洵出场，都像在看精彩百变的时装秀一样，难怪世子妃都说他是燕北第一男模了！在多件衣服里，很多都是紫色的，这不是一种容易穿得好看的颜色，但穿在燕洵(窦骁)身上却格外赏悦目！
7.耳环
不知大家有没有留意燕洵的耳环，前期是戴在耳朵较上的位置，很有潇洒哥儿的气息和雍容华贵的感觉。中期因为是被幽禁期，较为隐忍内敛，此时也是没有戴耳环的。后期是成为王后再次戴了，但却改了在耳珠部份，看起来也很霸气，再加上了那气势逼人的烟熏妆，实在太有气场了！
美，并不只是人长得好看，真正的美，是一种气质的流露，而燕洵正正完美的演绎了一种散发着独特气质的美感，也是因为这份难得的美感，才会令燕洵和窦骁圈粉无数吧！

Analysisof the beauty of Prince Yan Xun
First,I want to claim that this “beauty” doesn’t refer to the beauty of women. YanXun is a 100% man. The best adjective which can describe him, I think, is not“handsome”, but “great and wonderful” (The same word as “beauty” in Chinese).Yan Xun is the most charming man in the y ancient dramas I have watched.Shawn’s brilliant acting makes the role more lively and vivid. Eventhough there are not a lot of his fighting scenes, everyone is so impressive.They are both very powerful and gorgeous! The riding scenes of Yan Xun is usually smart, andwhen he attacked Chang An, the newborn king was exceptionally powerful andfierce. 假如我是燕洵—探讨燕洵的人生交叉点
人生总是充满抉择的，尤其是对于君主而言，每一个决定都可以左右大局，所谓：”一子错，满盘皆落索”，君主的决定不只对个人，对整个国家，整个民族都充满了深远影响。在燕洵充满坎坷和传奇的一生中，他曾面对不少人生抉择，他的决定有对也有错，有得到认同的，也有受人非议的，假如你是燕洵，当面对这两难的情况时会如何选择？
1. 应否作为质子前往长安？
燕洵的决定：对于一个只有七岁的孩子而言，要作出这个决定并不容易，年纪小小便要远赴他乡，离开爱护自己的家人，到一个孤立无援的地方为质，而且世途险恶，自己每个举动都会影响到自己的家人，自己的一族，必须事事谨慎步步为营，虽看似受宠却是如履薄冰。作出这个决定时，需要勇气、自信和能力，但燕洵做到了，为了拥护父亲，他甘愿去犯险，而凭着他过人的智慧，他在长安很快便能适应，而且生活得很好。这个决定足以影响他的一生，若当日他不自愿为质，也许也没有日后的燕北王了。
假如我是燕洵：我也会跟他一样选择前往长安，因为这是为了大局为重，关系到一家甚至是一族的存亡，作为定北侯的儿子，应该有此承担，而且以燕洵的能力和情绪智商，应付长安的勾心斗角，绝对是游刃有余的。
2. 应否替家人报仇？
燕洵的决定：在全家惨被屠戮后，燕洵本已万念俱灰，是楚乔的话令他重燃了希望，是母亲的遗言提醒他：他还有很多事情要做！他身上背负着血海深仇！从此以后，他不能再只为自己而活！虽然复仇之路充满痛苦，成王之途也注定是孤独的，但燕洵却毅然作出了决定。如他所说，人生在世，并不是只有开心就可以的，有的事情，明知是痛苦也得为之，人生在世，本就是充满无奈和逼不得已的。对于当时的他而言，他并没有选择，虽说人要有对抗命运的勇气，但有时也得接受残忍的事实，才能得以生存下去。
假如我是燕洵：相信任何一个正常的人，都没可能对这灭族灭门的大仇置若罔闻的，就算是再善良的人，也不可能避免如此深仇大恨的冲击，人变了，长大了，内敛了，成熟了也是必然的。在大道理的角度来看，燕洵杀害无辜，血洗长安是不合道德，是残酷不仁的，可是在人性的角度而言，这是正常不过的事，我们毕竟是人，是人就有脆弱和阴暗的地方，我们不可能要求一个历尽劫难，受尽不公待遇的人，仍能以赤子之心和仁慈待人，这样实在太苛求，太远离事实。站在道德高地指责他人谁人不会？最难做到的，是逆地以处体谅对方的处境。在这件事情上，我体谅燕洵，也会和他作出一样的抉择。
3. 应否为了楚乔放弃攻打长安？
燕洵的决定：为了美人而放弃江山，从来都是为人所称道，大家都觉得，爱情才是世上最重要的，为了所爱的人要不惜牺牲一切，这种爱才能称得上轰烈伟大，而燕洵也是英雄难过美人关，最后决定了收兵回红川城救楚乔，放弃快要垂手可得的长安。
以我的个人观点来说，这个决定深深令我失望，因为，他放弃的，并不只是江山，还有的是燕北的未来，还有众多燕北亡魂的血海深仇。作为燕北的王，他的责任不同于常人，他必须为他的百姓，他的部下着想，为了一个女人放弃大好河山，不单对不起自己，也辜负了那些信任自己，把一切希望都寄托在自己身上的将士！在当时的战略来看，红川城守住了也不能带来太平，必须以攻为守，只有真的攻下了长安，才能换来燕北的安宁。在很多关键时刻，人都会因为感情而作出不太理性的决定，这点我是理解的，只是我觉得，如果燕洵选了另一条路，相信结局或许会大大不同。
假如我是燕洵：我会坚持攻打长安，但也会再派人带走楚乔，至于她是否愿意走，决定权在她手里。对于一个曾与自己并肩作战的人，这样做已是尽了情义，不可能做得更多了。这世上并非只有楚乔一人，身为王者，不应只为了一己私情误了大事，必须以大局为重。
4. 应否杀宇文玥？
燕洵的决定：也许很多人认为，燕洵杀宇文玥是私情使然，但在于军事的角度来看，我觉得这样是很合理的。宇文玥和燕洵之间的恩仇本就是难以算清，很难说谁对谁有恩，或是谁负了谁。就如燕洵在尚武堂前所说的，在遇见时大家便是敌人。有时为势所逼，好友倒戈是在所难免的，就如兄弟父子在战场上也不会留手一样，认清和站稳自己的立场，各为其主，为自己的国家全力而战，才不辱国家和人民的托付。当时的宇文玥是敌军，战争本就是残酷的，杀掉敌军是很正常的事，我反而觉得，若只顾朋友之情，置国家民族于不顾，才是不忠不义！
假如我是燕洵：我也不会对宇文玥留情，大家立场不同，对立是必然的，若换作是宇文玥，我相信他也不会因为私情对燕洵留手，就如九幽台时一样，为了家族而不出面维护燕洵。燕洵为了燕北，宇文玥为了家族，各为其主，两人的决定都没有错。
