Boston (DbTechNo) - Fans of the rock band Daughtry will be happy to know that their new album has landed atop the Billboard chart.
Their album entitled “Leave This Town” dethroned Michael Jackson from the top of the US charts, and is the second album from the band to reach top spot.
Their first self titled album topped the US chart in its 9th week of release back in 2006.
Albums from the late Michael Jackson have been dominating the charts since his death, however they are not allowed to be counted on the Billboard chart because they were released more than 18 months ago.
Because of this, the top spot on last weeks’ Billboard went to “BLACKsummers’night” from Maxwell.
In third place this week was the Hannah Montana sound track followed by “Now 31〃 compilation and the Dead Weather from White Stripes frontman Jack White.
