I've owned this radio for 8 years, and have listened to it many, many hours in both the US and abroad. It is the perfect travel radio for AM/FM. It's light for traveling in your luggage, or you can carry it in any backpack, bag, or pocket. It's very efficient so you won't burn through batteries, either.
I use it with both the headphones and built-in speaker, and it's solid either way. It's easy to hold, and is very straightforward to operate.
To consider: There is no light. The antenna is left-right only, so it doesn't swivel/rotate a full 360 degrees. The antenna folds away, or can be extended from the 6 o'clock (stowed) to the 2 o'clock position (full right). It extends about 18 inches. I often listen with antenna stowed, which is helpful in a number of situations. It has held up well, and I expect this radio is still in the early years of its life.
