Time can change many things. You were at peak then you went downhill not long after.
He was the 'chosen one', the golden boy who scored that wonder ball in World Cup 1998. He's journeyed from Liverpool to Madrid, to Newcastle and now to Manchester. But I believe Liverpool is and will always be where he belongs. Well it doesn't matter... It just feels nice thinking of him still the wonder boy.
The moment he took that offer with no hesitation, he broke my heart and, I believe, hearts of many other fans that are like me, that also fell in love with Liverpool because of Michael Owen and committed to loving LFC no matter what happens. To be honest, my heart’s been screaming. He should never leave Liverpool! And the way he left by thinking RM is better than LFC really hurts.
His transfer to Man Utd’s was defiantly a disaster to me as a kop, but it is a good signing for his own good. He now have more talented players around him and more opportunities. And this could be the best chance for him to be back and prove a point!
People are talking about him not being the player he once was...and this could be true, but I also believe that there is always something that won't change, something that steps closer to your heart as time goes by. And to him, Michael, that thing is being simple and absolute. In his eyes I can see so much of life and passion. And it is rare in today's world esp. when it comes to the glamorous life of football players.
Football has somehow became an intricate, complex game played by the whole world. And sometimes our world forget to see the most simple things and gets intolerant of what against theirs minds.And Michael is still that boy who is so down-to-earth like he used to be.
So I really, really wanna thank him for letting me know that even time can go by fast, some things never change. But I'm still a massive supporter of LFC and I wanna say I'm pround to be a kop. Thank to LFC I can experience so much of heaven on earth. For me ~loving LFC is the thing that will never gonna change~!
