阔别乐坛多年的R&B天后惠特妮·休斯顿（Whitney Houston）终于正式对外公布将于本年度9月1日推出她的第七张录音室大碟《I Look to You》。近日，专辑内的首波主打单曲《I Didn't Know My Own Strength》曝光。
《I Didn't Know My Own Strength》是一首具有浓厚“Whitney Houston”风格的抒情R&B单曲。歌曲的前半段歌词比较悲观“我不知道自己的力量/所以我摔了一跤（I didn't know my own strength/ And I crashed down and I tumbled）”。但到后来笔锋一转，又变得对前途充满信心“但我并没有被打败/我征服了所有的痛楚/虽然我不知道自己的力量（But I did not crumble/ I got through all the pain/ I didn't know my own strength）”。
暂时乐评界还没有对这首单曲作出任何评价，但Whitney Houston的歌迷们显然对天后这首期待已久的新作爱不释手。歌迷们认为Houston的这首新作无论是歌曲的创作还是演绎都保持了她的天后级水准，认为歌词描述的正是Houston的切身体验。并且认为Houston的回归风头绝对不亚于高调复出的布兰妮。
据悉，《I Didn't Know My Own Strength》是Houston与旧拍档David Foster（《I Will Always Love You》监制）以及著名创作人Diane Warren合作的产物。歌曲创作人Diane Warren曾在接受采访时表示：“我从来不会在写歌之前心中就想好这首歌是要写给谁的。但这首歌我的确是专门为Houston而作。这首歌的确是触及到了她的某些生活。但我想歌曲所描述的感受应该也是能引起大多数人的共鸣的。”
而新专辑《I Look to You》的主要监制David Foster则认为：“Houston的状态好极了。我相信她将会给歌迷带来一张极棒的专辑。”
据悉，《I Look to You》的曲风主要是抒情R&B歌曲以及80年代风格的舞曲。而主要的制作人除了上述提到的两位外，还包括：Swizz Beatz、Sean Garrett以及Alicia Keys。而男歌手Akon以及R Kelly亦将会为专辑内的歌曲献声。

深夜听清晰版本的确实比之前的版本好很多，震住了，哈哈。不过声音状态确实变了不少哦。。。沙哑了不少。
