尊敬的肯尼亚工业和贸易部常务副部长Betty Maina女士，

尊敬的惠州市副市长余金富先生，
女士们，先生们：
　　大家下午好！
　　首先，我谨代表中国驻肯尼亚使馆，热烈祝贺肯尼亚投资促进局与中方共同成功举办中国（广东）—肯尼亚经贸合作交流会。

　　一是共建经济特区。珠江经济特区由广东企业与肯方合作规划建设，这将是肯尼亚首个经济特区，预计投资约20亿美元，建成后将极大推动肯工业化进程，并创造4万多个就业岗位。
　　二是共享科技成果。广东企业华为公司利用先进技术，为肯尼亚通信网络提供保障，并积极同肯政府合作，开发政务云服务项目。华为的产品和服务已经走进肯尼亚千家万户。
　　三是共求创业发展。特福陶瓷公司从中国整体引进两条瓷砖生产线。在短短两年内，已成为东非最大的建筑陶瓷生产基地。目前日产量达6万平米，在肯尼亚的市场占有率超过70%，辐射东非各国，并实现原材料本地化，雇佣当地员工超过1500名。
The first is the cooperation on economic special zone construction. The Pearl River Special Economic Zone is planned and constructed by enterprises of Guangdong and Kenya. This is the first SEZ of Kenya, in which two billion USD is expected to be invested. The Pearl River SEZ will accelerate Kenya's industrialization and create more than 40,000 job opportunities.
The second is technology sharing. Huawei, one of the most famous Guangdong companies, uses its latest technology to support Kenya's telecom system. In collaboration with Kenyan government, Huawei has developed government cloud service. The products and service of Huawei have entered Kenyan people's daily life.
The third is common entrepreneurship. The Twyford Ceremics Company has imported two production lines from China. In just two years, the company has become the biggest building ceramics supplier in East Africa. Its daily production capacity has reached 60,000 square meters. The products of Twyford has taken up over 70% market share of Kenya and exported to other East African countries. The raw materials are totally supplied by the local mines and the number of local employees has surpassed 1,500.

With the rapid development of China-Kenya relations, more and more people have paid closer attention to China-Kenya cooperation. Recently, I have found that some questions were frequently raised.

　　当前，在世界经济形势纷繁复杂，贸易保护主义和单边主义抬头的形势下，中方愿同肯方以哈拉比（Harambee）精神携手奋斗。让我们撸起袖子加油干，越是艰险越向前，共同开创中肯合作更加美好的明天！

Currently, the world economic situation is so complex that trade protectionism and unilateralism rise against globalization. China would like to work together with Kenya in the spirit of Harambee. Let's roll up our sleeves, work harder against the challenges and create a brighter future for the China-Kenya cooperation.
