最近在西澳宁格鲁礁的游客和向导拍了挺多虎鲨袭击赤蠵龟的图片。在面对虎鲨袭击时，海龟普遍会调整角度，把龟壳像盾牌一样御敌，虎鲨则在挑选进攻角度，想办法咬下海龟的鳍状肢或者从侧方咬住龟壳，进而抓获海龟。
Here is a collection of still images following up on the video i posted recently where we witnessed multiple tiger sharks preying on a loggerhead turtle on the Ningaloo Reef a couple of days ago. (I’m sorry if these graphic images disturb you, but...) This is nature in its rawest form a natural predation like this is rare to see. It was captivating to witness first hand an apex predator doing what they are designed to do which is removing sick, injured or struggling marine life from the ecosystem keeping the oceans healthy and in balance. The reality is, like them or not, sharks play a crucial role on this planet. Our existence, in part, is dependent upon theirs.
