For the first time we had parts made in China by the Great Light Company of Dongguan. We specified 6061-T6 and got cast aluminum. They refused to say they made a mistake and that melting scraps of 6061 into blocks and milking those blocks into parts is a good way of doing business.
If we have ever Recomended them to you and they made parts for you please be wary of where you use those parts there is no guarantee that the material is what they say it is or what you specified it to be. It wouldnt have been as frustrating if I didn’t spend a considerable amount of time telling them over and over how important what material it is made or really is.
I expected them to research and figure how this **** up happened and then take corrective measures to insure it won’t happen again but they refuse to even acknowledge there is a quality control problem.
