Well, there's nothing much to tell about the Chinese GP either. It's sad that it's already my third bad weekend in a row. The difficulties keep going on and we haven't scored a point yet. It doesn't help of course but I'm sure we can't get any lower than this.
The practice in China was the most difficult. The balance was ok but we couldn't find any downforce. We had new parts in the car. I tried them on Saturday and the car felt immediately better. I got back a little downforce and the quali went better than what we expected.
The KERS was gone and we lost a few tenths because of that. In the race I was always behind someone so the KERS would have helped for sure. But safety reasons decided and we couldn't use the system.
We continue with zero and it doesn't make life any easier but I've had bads before. The whole team just has to have the strenght to focus and we try to do our best. We get a new package to Barcelona and then we'll see where we when compared to the others.
These rainy races have sucked. The truth is that I still love to race on a wet track but now it's just so difficult when the car lacks downforce. There's no traction so all you can do is try to keep the car on the track, there's really nothing else you can do.
Next we go to Bahrain and at least there it shouldn't rain. We had our winter tests there and it should help us this year too. Of course the weather is more hot now but when we tested the slicks and the KERS already in February we can start the jobs a little bit easier.
Ferrari has won the last two races in Bahrain. Of course you can't just expect that we would get more speed out of somewhere but I think we should start scoring points already and hopefully we'll go to for the prizes.
