Recently we conducted a survey in 2000 junior students and senior students in order to learn more about the students' reading habits. We found that 37% middle students read less than five books per year. In regard to reading materials, it showed that junior students prefer cartoon magazines and jokes books whereas senior students popular novels, classic works and science fictions. For the cause why they read so little, 待续 

some junior students said they have no interest in reading while senior students explained they have no time to reading because they have much homework to do. The finding suggest we need encourage students to do more reading and give student more time for reading after class.
