南非当地时间18号早上，一些游客发现路边躺着一只小斑鬣狗。他们以为它被车撞了之类的，于是把车开到它附近，弄出声音试图吸引它的注意。但是他根本对声响没什么反应，只是稍微抬头看一下然后很笨拙的又躺回去，看起来好像受伤了。
人们马上联系了护林员前去查看，但是当护林员接近它时它撒丫子就跑了，护林员报告说它看起来不像有伤的样子，应该只是累了在路边休息等妈妈回来。
依旧感谢热心群众跟护林员。
Feel good story
This morning we received a message from Jean-Pierre Bax.
"We were on the H1-1, 1km east of Pretoriuskop when we saw this hyena cub lying next to the road and seems to have been knocked by a car. We tried to get it to react to us by calling out but it was very unresponsive and just lifted its head up and promptly flopped backed down. It looked like it was injured."
Latest Sightings contacted Lize from Enough is Enough and she promptly contacted the ranger who went out to investigate immediately. As the ranger approached the little cub, the cub got up and ran away and the ranger reported that it was not injured and most likely just very tired and waiting for mom to get back.
