This blog entry is actually really meaningful to me. Remember 3-4yrs ago when I went back to my village for the first time? It was such an experience where they honored my presence by placing two plaques inside the ‘chee tong’ which has never been allowed especially because I am female. With is marked occasion, I donated monies to the village and the ‘chee tong’ as a gesture of my gratitude and honor.
This year, they had completed their renovation of the ‘chee tong’ and neighboring building (school, city hall), and they REALLY showed their appreciation and just their wholehearted proudness of me and my accomplishments!!
Unfortunately I couldn’t make it there myslef, but both my parents were able to go on my behalf to see and witness the reopening…
这篇BLOG对我来说很有意义.还记得3、4年前我第一次回乡吗?那次真的是一个很好的经验，他们为表对我回乡添以荣誉，特意在祠堂内为我造了两块牌匾，作为女儿家，这是史无前例的，为了纪念这个时刻，我捐了些钱予家乡及祠堂以示我对他们的谢意。
今年，祠堂及隔邻的大厦(学校、大会堂)翻新完工，他们真的对很赏识我，全心对我以及我的成就引以为荣……
可惜，我未能亲身到场，但我的父母就替我亲身见证祠堂重开的一刻……
