12月4日，第二届辽宁省住院医师大赛在沈阳举行，来自全省21个住院医师规范化培训基地，共84支参赛队参赛。记者了解到，辽宁有执业医师10万余人，正在进行住院医师规范化培训的约1.5万人。针对全国普遍紧缺的儿科、精神医学科、产科、全科等专业医师，辽宁正通过重点补助、政策倾斜等方式进行大力扶植。
　　住院医师是医生的初级职称，辽宁每年可完成4000-4500人的住院医师规范化培训。辽宁省卫生计生委科技教育处处长张煊介绍，针对儿科、精神医学科、产科三大紧缺专业均给予了重点补助；针对基层急需的全科医师，在培训政策上予以扶持。目前，全省共有26个国家级住院医师规范化培训基地，已累计培训24000余人，其中3000余人来自县区基层卫生机构。
　　国家卫生计生委人才交流服务中心命题二处处长陈声宇介绍，我国2014年起全面启动住院医师规培工作后，今年是首批三年规培医师“毕业”的年份，全国各省都进行了医师考核。“从考核平均分上来看，辽宁的成绩处在第一梯队中。”(记者 尚志文)
