Jared Leto almost missed a flight because he was writing a song.
The 30 Seconds to Mars singer was struck by inspiration shortly before he was due to board a plane while the band were on tour, and admits he got so carried away with the creative process, he had to dash to complete his journey.

He said...: "I had written a verse of 'Kings and Queens' right as we were going to the airport - I literally almost missed the flight because I picked up the guitar and this song came out. You have that moment of discovery that's exciting."

Jared also claimed the band have won a global fanbase because of their intensity and passion for the band.

He added to Billboard magazine...: "People like us because of more the collective consciousness than it is just us. We really share ownership. I really believe that our fans have a sense of how much this means to us as well, that we're not just chasing a single or an album or just a song or a piece of merchandise or a party. They know this runs deep, and it's everything for us."
