The reformed quartet - singer Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree - have revealed they will perform at the city's Evening News Arena on June 26, a week ahead of their huge outdoor shows at London's Hyde Park.

Tickets go on sale for the concert at 9am on Friday.

After the 'Beetlebum' rockers perform in London on July 2 and 3, they will then headline Scotland's T in the Park festival and Ireland's Oxygen festival over the weekend of 10-12 July.

Since announcing they were getting back together last month, Blur have also been subjected to rumours they will headline the legendary Glastonbury music festival but have so far not commented on the speculation.

The band haven't recorded together since 2002 - when Graham Coxon quit the group before the recording of their 'Think Tank' album - and have all pursued different career paths.
