国际观月夜（International Observe the Moon Night ，InOMN ）是一项激励人们观察、欣赏和认识我们的月球，与美国航空航天局行星科学和探索相关的年度全球公众项目。
地球上的每个人都被邀请主持或出席国际观月夜项目的庆祝活动 -- 每年的某一天，相聚在一起观赏和了解月球。

International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation and appreciation of the Moon. All are invited to learn more about the Moon and its connection to NASA pla
neta
ry science and exploration, as well our cultural and personal connections to it. Each year, thousands of people participate in InOMN at museums, planetaria, schools, universities, observatories, parks, businesses, and backyards around the world. Any astronomy club, interested group, or individual, anywhere, can host an InOMN event; events range from small family gatherings to community events that draw hundreds of visitors.

International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration, as well as the cultural and personal connections we all have with Earth's nearest neighbor. Everyone on Earth is invited to join the celebration by hosting or attending an InOMN event — and uniting on one day each year to look at and learn about the Moon together.
On this site, you can find information about how to host, register, and evaluate your InOMN event, look for an InOMN event near you, and share pictures and highlights from InOMN.
Though we encourage everyone to participate in International Observe the Moon Night on a specified day each year, we understand that this date may not work for everyone. If it does not work for you this year, you are welcome to host your event on a different day, as close to October 28 as possible.

2009年6月18日月球勘测轨道飞行器（LRO）发射，2009年8月1日美国航天机构举行两场庆祝探月成功的观察月球天文活动。
2010年9月18日第一届国际观月夜。
2011年9月10日重力回溯及内部结构实验室（Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory） GRAIL圣杯号探测器发射。
2011年10月8日第二届国际观月夜。
2012年9月22日第三届国际观月夜。
2013年9月7日月球大气与粉尘环境探测器发射（美国东部时间9月6日23时27分发射）。
2013年10月12日第四届国际观月夜。月球大气与粉尘环境探测器于10月12日进入绕月轨道。
2014年9月6日第五届国际观月夜。
2015年9月19日第六届国际观月夜。
2016年10月8日第七届国际观月夜。

2007年10月19日至10月30日，金秋览月活动。
2007年10月24日，嫦娥一号发射。
2010年10月1日，嫦娥二号发射。
2013年12月2日，嫦娥三号发射。
