Cilic wins third career title

ZAGREB - Marin Cilic won his second ATP World Tour title in five weeks as he defeated Mario Ancic in first ATP final in 19 years involving two Croatian players. Cilic beat Ancic by 6:3, 6:4 at the PBZ Zagreb Indoors and remained undefeated in finals on ATP circiut, winning the third career title. Prevoiusly, he won New Haven last year and Chennai in January 2009.
"It was great feeling playing in front of this fantastic crowd. It was my best match of the tournament. But I have to congratulate Mario: he played very tough match on Saturday and he was not on top of his game today", Cilic said after the match.
Ancic had seven break points in the opening game but Cilic prevailed and soon it was 5:1 for younger of two Croats. Cilic opened the second set with 2:0 lead then lost serve, but another break he made at 4:4 was crucial.
"There are no secrets: Marin played better. He was in control throughout the match and played on very high level. It was mission impossible for me after very tough match I played yesterday evening", Ancic said.
By winning the final Cilic improved his match record to 13-1 in 2009, ATP World Tour-best this season.
