还有一个不好的消息！
大家不要再去给Declan发电子邮件了

而原来的邮件
就是这个[email protected] 只会有自动回复了！！！
原文：Many people will know that in 2006 when the "Thank You" album was released we were asked by quite a few people how they could send a message about it directly to Declan.
So, it was decided, mainly by me, but with Declans approval too, to let people have his personal e-mail address.
We thought that after a few weeks the number of messages would inevitably decrease.
How wrong we were.(Or more accurately how wrong I was )
Within 2 weeks of publishing the address around 300 messages were being received each week and soon it was reaching 300+ every day. and it hasn't varied much from that figure for 2 years now
To start with, Declan tried to answer as many as he could but it became a hopeless task.
All the while we kept thinking the number of messages is bound to get less sometime soon.
But this has not happened, he is still getting an average of 384 e-mails and fan letters every single day mostly from people who seem to want to have ongoing daily correspondence with him.
(around his birthday, Christmas and New Year period it rose to nearly 530 on average and peaked one day at 724!!!)
Very few people seem to realise or understand that it simply is not possible for Declan to write individual replies to almost 400 people every day.
He does not have time every day to write hundreds of e-mails, make 100s of phone calls or chat on myspace, facebook or msn with the 1000's of people who want him to.
So from now on Declan will use a different e-mail address which will not be made public.
All messages sent to [email protected] will receive a short simple automatic response only
