High School Musical heartthrob wants to show his commitment 
Teen heartthrob Zac Efron has given his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens a diamond ring. 
The High School Musical star, 20, splashed out on the heart-shaped sparkler, designed by Paloma Picasso, to prove how committed he is to their relationship. 
'It's adorable and age-appropriate for Vanessa,' a friend tells In Touch Weekly. 'It's from him, so she loves it.' 
The pair have kept their blossoming romance out of the media spotlight since the release of High School Musical 2. 
But last October Vanessa admitted that they were together. Her publicist confirmed that her new music video for Say OK was their official 'coming out' as a couple.
