疫苗及体检
由于大部分同学都完成其他的设置，很多同学拿到了I20， 近期开始进行体检和疫苗的准备，
这里小五也为大家整理了学校的体检/疫苗政策～希望可以帮助到大家。

1 MSU 要求所有新生和转学生完成一个网页版本的疫苗注射历史表格(可以从下文链接进入)
2MSU强烈建议但是不要求学生注射推荐疫苗，无官方疫苗要求表格(见下文)
3MSU的健康中心(olin center)为学生提供免费的疫苗注射
4对于MSU疫苗政策的任何问题，可以拨打5173539101进行咨询
5 MSU没有统一的体检表格和强制体检项目，可以自行前往当地国际旅行体检中心说明学校并没有统一表格，按照体检中心提供的体检即可

Hepatitis B（乙肝疫苗）
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis Booster (Tdap)（百日咳／白喉）
Meningococcus（脑膜炎）
Varicella (Chickenpox)（水痘）
Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)（麻疹，风疹，腮腺炎混合疫苗）
Influenza（流感疫苗）
Hepatitis A（甲型肝炎）
Pneumococcal polysaccharide (PPV) 肝炎链球菌疫苗
（有些疫苗在小的时候已经接种过，去检疫中心需携带以前的疫苗本）

疫苗政策原文Vaccine/Immunization Policy for Undergraduate Students
MSU policy requires that all incoming freshmen and undergraduate transfer students complete a web-based immunization form reporting their immunization status, and updating it as it changes.

MSU strongly recommends, but does not require, that students are current for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended vaccines listed below.
It will be easier for you to complete the web-based immunization form if you have a copy of your immunization record with you. Ask your parents, physician, or high school for a copy of your immunization records.

Vaccines Recommended forTeens and College Students
● Hepatitis B: A one-time series of three doses of vaccine.
● Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis Booster (Tdap): One dose of Tdap at age 11. This recommendation is particularly important due to recent outbreaks of Whooping Cough (Pertussis) and the dramatic rise of the disease inMichigan and elsewhere in the U.S.
● Meningococcus: One dose of vaccine at age 11 or 12 and a booster at age 16, doses should be at least 2 months apart.
● Varicella (Chickenpox): A one-time series of two doses of vaccine for anyone who has not had chickenpox disease or previous vaccination.
● Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR): A series of two doses of vaccine on or after the first birthday is recommended.
● Influenza: Vaccination yearly in the fall. Recommended for everyone over age 6 months who does not have a contraindication to the vaccine. It is especially recommended for young people with certain health risks, such as asthma or any chronic disease. Influenza disease is very easy to get in a classroom or crowded living situation. Influenza vaccine is available as a nasal mist or as an injection.
● Hepatitis A: A series of two doses of vaccine for some adults with certain health conditions or occupations. Students may want to consider this if they plan to have an international travel experience.
● Hepatitis A: A series of three doses of vaccine for prevention of cervical cancer and genital warts.
● Pneumococcal polysaccharide (PPV): A one-dose of vaccine for those under the age of 65 who have any of the following conditions:
●
○ Long term health problems, such as: asthma, heart disease, lung disease, sickle cell disease, alcoholism, cirrhosis, leaks of cerebrospinal fluid, or cochlear implant.
○ A disease or condition that lowers the body’s resistance to infection, such as: Hodgkin’sdisease/lymphoma or leukemia, kidney failure, multiple myeloma, nephritic syndrome, HIV infection or AIDS, damaged spleen, or no spleen, organ transplant.
○ Is taking a drug or treatment that lowers the body’s resistance to infection, such as: long-term steroids, certain cancer drugs, radiation therapy.
○ Is a smoker.

Vaccines are available from the MSU Student Health Center for afee, from most county health departments, or from personal physicians. Some ofthe vaccines at the county health department are offered at reduced or no cost.Health insurance may pay for some of the immunizations, as well. Students maywant to check with their health insurance carrier to see if they do cover partof these costs.
