Hy guys. I want to say that i love this emu. Used it for many years on my Galaxy S2 and S4: D
It has THE BEST touch controls i've ever used, so congrats for that! :)
The trouble is that FBA4droid, any version (1.72. 1.73, 1.74...), never played perfectly. The image >>or<< the audio are not good.
Now i have a rooted NOTE 3 (Snapdragon quad core version) with 4.4.2 kit kat and there are >audio problems<. Let me explain:
1. If disable the Multi-Thread option, the image is perfectly smooth, but the audio is very bad, it pops and skips and is distorted.
2. If enable Multi-Thread, the sound is good, BUT the image is not smooth, it stutters a lot, the framerate is very choppy.
I tried multiple firmwares (Lollipop, Marshmallow) and they all have this issue. On the other hand, Mame4Droid, and Retroarch play well, with smooth image and sound, without any Multi-Threading enabled.
If the developer of FBA4droid could test the emulator on a similar smartphone (Note 3 Snapdragon), and maybe tweak the audio a bit, maybe offer some more options (latency?) for audio/video it would be AMAZING!
Thak you and happy gaming!
