Xiaoli Pan joined Shanghai Media Group in 2005 as an anchor/reporter for news and current affairs. Xiaoli has consistently delivered insightful analysis on what’s shaping political, economic and cultural trends in China and internationally. She has produced a series of exclusive interviews with the world’s opinion leaders. Xiaoli’s global experience includes working and studying in numerous countries across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. Xiaoli received her higher education in the UK with an academic focus on international politics and economics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Leeds and a Master’s degree from SOAS, University of London. She has worked on disarmament research at the United Nations’ office in Geneva. And most recently, during her time as a visiting fellow at McGill University sponsored by ‘the Sauvé Foundation for Future Leaders’, she explored the subject of art history through anthropological and philosophical angles. At ICS, Xiaoli is now hosting China's longest standing English programme "News at Ten" and "Shanghai Noon".
