I'm happy that I can relax there easily. People don't really approach me in the street; everyone respects each other's privacy.What do you like about Basel?It is a quiet town. The people are relaxed. There are good training possibilities and beautiful parks to walk in. You were raised in Belgrade, but have lived in Switzerland since you were 15. Why?Because of tennis. In Serbia, there weren't very good facilities and the association didn't help us. There was a lack of coaches too. We decided to go to Switzerland, where my former coach lived. And my manager. A lot to look back on / November 11, 2008What a year it has been! I was talking to my team before I left Doha and someone said that so much happened that it was like three seasons – I definitely feel that way.Now that the season is over I can reflect on some amazing experiences. Obviously the last few days of the French Open, when I reached No.1 and then won my first Grand Slam title are the highlights of my year, and the highlights of my career up to this moment. It's been the best year of my career so far.When I think back to those times, and how I felt, I feel very motivated to train hard to achieve this kind of success next year. Obviously Doha didn’t go as I was hoping, but I am feeling positive and confident about next season.I’d like to thank my whole team – my family, coaching staff, doctors and management – for the incredible support they gave me this season. During the good times and the bad times they were always there for me, and we had some great times together.I’d also like to thank all of you guys for your amazing support this year, especially the messages you sent me when I was injured. It means a lot to me.Now I’m going to take some time to visit my family and relax. But I’ll be training for the new season already in November.
