Report on how to improve on Soundblaster's success
The purpose of this report is to recommend the music group Soundblaster how to improve on their success.
According to the recent market reserch,the second CD Hear to believe was the topsale in 2003,but other CDsales after that year has dropped sharply from 5.1 million copies to 2.9 million copies.
From what has been discussed in the meeting,we got the conclusion that Soundblaster lack of renewal,the music style is still remained in 2003.
Based on the conclusion above,we recommend that Soundblaster need to define a clear target as follow:
* Develop the band's brand.If a range of aftershave or perfume called Soundblaster can be launched,the band's logo will be greatly modernised.
* Develop the band's music and attract new fans.If different music can be played to focus groups of people and find out what they prefer,success will be more likely.
* Increase sales of music and merchandising.If free T-shirts can be given out to younger people to wear at fashionable nightclubs，Soundblaster will have greater opportunities.
