Today, Iwant to tell you howI fell in love with a band called Coldplay.
Before falling in love with the band, I loved Jay Chou like many people. I listened English song more after junior high school and accidentally loved a band Owl city. I really love The Saltwater Room of Owl city. I like to useDouban FM to listen to songs. Douban FM is a private music push APP, which is earlier than Netease cloud music. In the summer of 2011, I was not in a good mood one day. On the day, I first heard the song, Yellow of Coldplay. When I firstheard the prelude, I couldn’t wait to come to a quiet place to open my ears licentiously. The song was rock and warm. In the past, I always thought only more quiet tunes could relieve the mood. But for this song, I didn’tneed to listen the songlyrics, but just listen to the rhythm and feel the release of uneasiness and restlessness in my mind. I heard the song lyrics"look at the star. look how theyshine for you." I just thought thatthe rock is giving a ventto the noisy and emotion explosion, but actually not. Later I knew that "Yellow" in English also had the meaning of timid, introverted as well as brave. Just as the song lyrics "For you I'd bleed myself dry. " It is full of emotions. We all are timid when we face our lovers, justlike the first love. Maybe Yellow wants toexpress that we are all afraid facing our lovers. However, no matter how painful and distant our love is, we are still willing tosacrifice everything. This is my individual opinion. Yellow lets me think of “sunflower”, Van Gogh. Good music is just like a good picture. Different people will have different interpretations. The above is the first meeting of Coldplay and me.

After Yellow, I didn't pay too muchattention to other songs of Coldplay. After all, you couldn't easily fall in love witha band because of onesong just like you couldn’t fall in love with aperson easily.Loving one thing needs theprocess and certain contingency. In the second year, 2012, my favorite novel “lifeof Pi” wasadapted into a film, which wasdirected by the directorof “brokeback mountain”, Ang Lee. Some of you may have seen it. So I was looking forward to it and I watched it the first timethe trailer was released. There was a song in the trailer. I fell in love with it when Iheard it. When the prelude began, my brain will fly beyond the highestheavens and follow thewonderful journey of young Pi. At that time, I didn't know that thesong was Paradise of Coldplay until I asked otherson internet. Ifeltvery surprise when Iknewthat, just like accidentally meeting with a friend somewhere in the city.I had never felt suchmajestic momentum indomestic songs. So I liked Coldplay more. In 2012, I also thought one episode in a movie named “theamazing spider-man” was particularlygood.When I came out of thecinema, I checked the OST of the firm by mobile phone and found that it was stillthe song of Coldplay "Til Kingdom Come". I thought "TilKingdom Come" wastoo sincere and toodeep. Unlikethose straight andsweet songs, this songtells the lovewith the stirring way. I felt the "only" wonderful feeling. I thought I would use this song as the backgroundmusic when I make aproposal. The accidental encounter again and again made me feel that maybethis band is really suitable for me. In 2013, the “The hunger games”movie directly askedColdplay to make atheme song. In 2014, the OST of artfilm “Boyhood” was Yellow at the end of the movie, which also makes mevery surprise. The seriesof encounter and surprise made me fall in love with the bandstep by step.
Next I will introduce the band. The band was a Britishrock band foundedin 1996. the leadsinger Chris Martin, the bassist, Guy Berryman, leadguitarist, Jon Buckland the drummer, Will Champion. I love this band. I do not want to share them withtoo many people. Thefeeling is just like occupying a treasure.
