Lynn Gunn of PVRIS was in the seventh grade when she first sawParamore live.
“I saw them open up for Jimmy Eat World,” Gunn—real name Lyndsey Gunnulfsen—tells Radio.com over the phone. “I just remember that night after watching them perform I was like, ‘OK, that’s what I want to do. I want to do that one day.’ Ever since, I’ve been working towards it.”
Gunn says it was seeing the power of Hayley Williams that immediately resonated with her.
“You see someone else doing that up there and you’re like, ‘I could do that, she’s just like me,’” Gunn says. “That was a realization point, because she was a young girl…just going up and completely killing it. I can do that if I want to.”
