Tupac was not a gangster. He was raised in the ghetto and moved from home to home yes and most likely hanged with gangsters but they told him he had talent and not to follow what they do he was also someone who was crazy and spoke his mind. Suge Knight would be the only semi gangster in the record industry all the rappers are not maybe they hustles but theres a difference from a hustler to a gangster.
Gangster- is a hustler and is a criminal organized or not and is in a member of a gang which is involved in criminal activity murder extortion robbery and keep in control with intimidation. Also a real gangster is somone who cant leave his/he way of life either but only by death, jail or leave but then get killed if unable to live in isolation but they are on the polices case so its almost impossible to.
Hustler- Is someone who is out there to make money without getting a legitimate job etierh on their own or in a group they can be in a gang but that gang is out there to make money and not united like a real gang. Hustlers can escape their life and become rappers of course like 50 Cent Lil Wayne all the rappers who claim to be gangsters were just really hustlers as you wont be screaming out you were a gangster. A leader of a gang which hustles is usually a real gangster and has these workers but they tend to think they are gangsters. 50 Cent use to selll drugs in a gang but only the leaders was a real gangster him and others were below him just workers.
Suge was a gangster or had gang connections but used it to further his record label owning career he was involved in extorting and most possibly the murders of Tupac in order to own his music when he dies & killed B.I.G to make it look as if it were because of their differences as he used corrupts off duty LAPD officers to do who he already had employed as body guards is by paying them off and Bloods & Crips must not been aware of this.
Tupac was a smart creative person who knew gangsters and they treated him as one of them as his music could relate to them as well as everyone in a struggle also Tupac was street smart as he grew up in the ghetto. He had strong ties with the Piru bloods as when he joined Death row records through Suge who was raised in a bloods neighborhood in Compton. So when Tupac was killed the Bloods retaliated on Crips and anyone who they suspected in killing him.
People perceive Tupac as a gangster because of how he acted and how he was shot before and later murdered but a real gangster could not of been as clever and successful as he could of been.
