During a Captain America: Civil War screening at the Smithsonian in Washington DC, the Russo Brothers were discussing the 2018 Avengers: Infinity War, and accidentally referenced Captain Marvel by name. When fans quickly responded asking “Did you just confirm Captain Marvel?” The Russo’s responded with “Um…Captain Barvel. Totally different character.” Fans have since taken to Twitter with their reaction to this breaking news under the hashtag #MarvelatSI.This news confirms a scoop our own Umberto Gonzalez dropped on Episode 6 of Heroic Insider, which can be seen below.
